Vlad Martsyniv

Vlad, a skilled musician from Ukraine, is a versatile viola player proficient in classical, rock, and folk music. He moved to Canada in October 2022. Vlad holds a Masters degree in Music, having completed his education at Odessa National Music Academy.
Throughout his career, Vlad achieved notable success, garnering prizes in prestigious international music competitions such as "Fortissimo" in 2019, "Chamber Ensembles of V.P. Povzun" in 2018, and Music Unite Us in 2017.
Vlad's experience extends to performing with renowned orchestras including K&K Philharmoniker and Odessa Municipal Orchestra. He has also undertaken concert tours in Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal as part of the Ivano-Frankivsk Symphony Orchestra. During his time in Ukraine, Vlad also shared his expertise by offering private viola and violin lessons.
Jen Mallette

Jen Mallette is the co-director of the St. John's United Church choir, where she plays a key role in encouraging participation and fostering enjoyment among musicians of all ages. With vocal training from the Royal Conservatory and having successfully completed Grade 12 piano with the Western Ontario Conservatory, Jen brings a solid foundation of musical expertise.

She is also fortunate to have had talented and supportive music and band teachers throughout her life, who helped her develop a deep love for a wide range of musical styles and opened doors to numerous performance and learning opportunities.

Passionate about giving back to the community and supporting youth-driven music initiatives, Jen is thrilled to contribute to local musical events in the Waverley/ Fall River area, including fostering growth and opportunities for young musicians through initiatives such as the Leanne Music Competition.
Josh Robinson (2024)

Josh Robinson is a versatile singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is very active in Halifax’s live music scene as a keyboardist and front man in G Street band, a freelance musician, and a bandleader. He studied music and graduated from Dalhousie University majoring in classical vocal.

Josh has shared the stage with many of Canada’s finest musicians, and has ventured as far as Hollywood to perform as one of ten artists selected worldwide for a talent showcase. As a classical tenor and jazz trained vocalist, Josh sings with the Back Alley Big Band and has been featured with the Dalhousie Symphony Orchestra, and numerous other pop, jazz, r&b, classical, Latin, rock, fusion, and songwriter ensembles as a singer and an instrumentalist.

Over the past several years, Josh has also worked as a live sound technician, producer and arranger.
