Welcome to Talent Studio Halifax!

Let us introduce ourselves and let you know a little bit about our school, programs, method, live music and more.

Both Luda - piano teacher and Vladimir - guitar teacher are originally from Russia where we studied music and graduated from university. We moved to Canada in 1997 first to Toronto, ON and later to Halifax, NS and have been teaching and performing music at many venues all across Canada.

Vladimir, a prize winner of an international classical guitar competition, has been a professional musician for more than 20 years performing with such bands and musicians as Lady Son, Maderaz, Sharon Lois and Bram as well as solo classical guitarist.

With Maderaz Latin Music Vladimir performed over a thousand shows in schools across Ontario and has been a part of CBC productions.

Luda, aside from teaching music and performing classical piano recitals also has an incredible experience of working for many years at the Giant Steps - a leading Canadian school for kids with special needs and currently working for Halifax Regional School Board.

We are happy to introduce our violin and piano teachers from Ukraine Inna Klymenko and Vlad Martsyniv, who have been teaching at Talent Studio Halifax since 2022. They both graduated from Odessa National Music Academy, both are winners of international competitions and toured across Europe with a few music projects and symphony orchestras.

 

Here at Talent Studio, we bring all our experience and education to make our classes productive, efficient and fun!

We usually recommend to start your education with classical music by playing masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Sor, Tarrega and other great composers, as well as developing sight-reading, ear training and learning music theory and  world's music and art history in the process.

With such a solid foundation it's easier to continue and learn other genres you might be interested in: jazz, blues, rock, popular, Latin, flamenco, folk.

We always use an individual and personalized approach to  teaching our lessons based on students interest in particular genres, styles and songs.

Also, from our years of teaching experience, we know that learning music can have such a great positive impact on student's lives - both children and adults. It gives a joy of achievement when you learn and perform your favorite composition, develops memory, creativity and imagination, serves as a stress relief and definitely helps kids get better in school.
